A small business website in Ireland usually costs between €1,000 and €6,000 to build, plus a monthly fee for hosting and upkeep. Where you land depends on what the site needs to do. Here is a plain guide, with our own prices.

Our prices

We have two packages.

  • Website: €1,500 to build, then €150 a month. A custom site with a contact form, click-to-call, WhatsApp and email, one blog post a month, and hosting, security and updates included.
  • Managed website: €5,000 to build, then €500 a month. Everything in Website, plus bookings or online payments, advanced forms and a back office where you update your own services, case studies and news. Four blog posts a month.

You can see both side by side on our websites and pricing page.

What drives the cost of a website

1. How many pages it needs

A plumber with five services needs fewer pages than a clinic with twenty treatments. Each page needs writing, design and a check on a phone.

2. Bookings, payments and forms

A simple contact form is cheap. Online bookings, payments, multi-step quote forms and file uploads take more time to build and test.

3. Who writes the words

Good words win calls. If you write them yourself it costs less, but most owners are too busy. We write them for you from a short call.

4. Moving an old site

If you already have a site, every old page needs to point to its new home so you keep your Google rankings. It is careful work and worth doing right.

5. What the monthly fee covers

Cheap builds often leave you on your own after launch. A monthly fee should cover hosting, security, updates and someone to call. Ours also covers fresh blog posts every month.

Can I get help with the cost?

The Local Enterprise Office runs the Trading Online Voucher. It may cover up to half the cost of a website for a small Irish business that wants to sell or take bookings online. Our Managed website may qualify. Ask your local office for the current rules.

Cheap websites can cost more

A €300 site that loads slowly and never shows on Google will not bring in work. The real question is how many calls the site brings in each month, not what it costs once.

The short answer

Budget €1,500 to €5,000 to build a site that wins work, and €150 to €500 a month to keep it fast, safe and growing. If you are not sure what you need, ask us for a free website check and we will tell you plainly.
